The 14-year-long civil war and a series of political and social turmoil have turned the nation into a scarred and battered country. There was not enough food, drinking water or medical security, to say nothing of education opportunities.

Because of war, AIDS and famine a new problem has arisen in Liberia: Children with no family.  We are in relationship with New Hope Mission of Liberia (NHM) which is endeavoring to be part of the solution to this vast problem.

We now have over 100 orphans who need sponsorship. Please consider sponsoring one of the children with $25 per month. In return, you will receive communications from the child as well as a pictures on an bi-annual basis.

Under the leadership of Tubman Sarpee, NHM has acquired a large tract of land and has begun constructing an orphanage and elementary school for the orphan children.

Compared to building projects in the USA, the cost is very reasonable and obtainable if we partner together. We need $40,000 total to see this work completed. This equals out to about $1 per brick. The good news: we have already acquired enough funding to make 4,000 of the bricks.
